My go-to cupcakes! Classic Chocolate and Vanilla// toasted coconut

imagePictured here are my go-to, toasty coconut cupcakes. My mom taught me the trick into toasting coconut flakes in the oven. To be quite honest I was never a fan of the coconut flavor, but once I tried it baked, oh man my mind was changed forever. It is SO GOOD!  These simple, yet delicious duos are perfect  for any occasion:) and they never fail me whenever I need a last minute, delicious dessert to make.

*To toast coconut flakes, preheat your oven to 350°. Next spread out your flakes onto a baking sheet. It’s important to keep a close eye on your coconut flakes while they are roasting in the oven. All ovens run differently,  some cook faster than others, and they can burn very easily if you step away from them too long.  Be sure to stir occasionally to prevent them from burning too much on one side. Once you notice the flakes beginning to brown, you can now remove them from the oven and set aside to cool. Once your flakes have completly cooled off you can now garnish your cupcakes, cakes and even sprinkle over icecream as a topping! All ways are super delish!
