One thing I love the most about the cooler weather is all the hot chocolate and coffee! My dad and I seriously make it every night, lol Abuelita hot chocolate with a huge swirl of whipped cream ontop! yum! we like to add mini marshmallows under the whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon! Ahh, can it be cold here in Arizona already!! I cant wait to start making these chocolate dipped spoons again this year, they are perfect for dipping into your hot chocolate, coffee, or to simply lick off the spoon! they are that good:) This is such a fun and creative DIY to give as a gift, or make for your holiday parties. They are so easy to make, and also a fun family activity that your little ones will surely enjoy! Below I will be showing you step by step on how to create these chocolate dipped spoons, and I hope you all give these a try this holiday season! Enjoy the little things!

What You Need:

*Chocolate

*Plastic spoons

*Toothpick (to create swirl design)

*parchment paper

*Toppings such as mini marshmallows, sprinkles, chocolate chips, crushed candy canes, coconut, etc..

 Now Lets get Started!

First thing you want to do is melt your chocolates. Second, line your spoons on a baking pan lined with parchment paper and begin to fill with your melted chocolate. Lastly, decorate and add toppings! Pop in the fridge until chocolate hardens. You can enjoy these chocolate spoons by dipping into your hot chocolate, coffee, or even warm milk, there is no wrong way to enjoy these, lol.

Before your chocolate begins to harden, add any toppings you desire! Have fun with it, crush cookies, add peppermint candies, more chocolate even! For Christmas I like to make a little snowman ontop of the spoons using mini marshmallows:)  And isn’t this swirly effect so beautiful and fancy! This simple toothpick trick leaves these spoons with such a gourmet look, I just love it! I also like to re-create this look on my chocolate dipped strawberries:) No need to go out and spend tons of money to order some beautiful, tasty treats, you can easily  re-create these all on your own for a great price:) and I guarantee you that your friends and loved ones will surely adore them♥
