Coconut Macaroons

Here is a super easy, yet super delicious flourless Macaroon recipe that is perfect for any occasion! I hope you all give it a try, you won’t be disapointed!

2 1/2 cups of Coconut flakes

2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp. vanilla extract

chocolate chips (optional)

-Preheat your oven to 350°, begin to grease your cookie sheet to prevent sticking, or you can also place a sheet of parchment paper down onto the cookie sheet, (either method works great).

-While your oven is warming up and you have your cookie sheet all prepped and ready,  you can now begin to add all the ingredients together into a mixing bowl.  Use a spoon/spatula to stir all ingredients together until everything is well blended. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheet. Using your spoon or fingers, gently press down onto the dough to slightly flatten them. Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Keep on eye on them, everybody’s oven works differently so its very easy for the coconut flakes to burn if you take your attention off them too long. I like to leave them in just a little over until I notice the edges darkening up, the bottom of them develop this super delicious, caramelized coating. After taking the cookies out of the oven, allow them to sit for a minute before transferring them onto a wire rack for cooling. And that is all there is to it! super easy and quick to make and packed with so much flavor! I love a cookie that has a lot to offer, chewy on the inside, crispy on the outside with just a hint of that sweet condensed milk and chocolate chips, nommz, you will be addicted! happy baking!

Here’s a sweet idea  for giving a batch of these sweet treats as a gift. Simply pack them into a small dessert bag/box with a card and you are good to go!
