cowboys and cake!

hello my lovelies! Happy holidays!! I hope everyone is enjoying time with all your loved ones. I still can’t wrap my head around how fast this entire year has gone by. This whole month of November still feels like a blur! But one things for sure, is that I am so blessed to have been part of so many memorable celebrations this past year. It truly fills my heart with so much happiness to be part of ones special day, and bring something sweet to their table for all to enjoy. November is coming to an end, and I wanted to share with you all a glimpse of one of my November birthdays’ celebration.  Cowboy hats, boots, and adorable mini haystacks filled the table for Jaydens 9th birthday party. His cowboy attire and western feel theme was the absolute best! and is super simple to re-create all on your own! All you will need to make these adorable cupcake toppers are some toothpicks and stickers! I found these western themed stickers at my local Walmart in the craft section. They always have a great variety of stickers on hand for almost every occasion. wp-1479605579740.jpg

for the cow print cake pops, I used Wilton black decoration icing to create the spots. There is no right or wrong method to do this. Each spot on a cow is unique and come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. I just squeezed a drop of icing all over the cake pop and used a toothpick to spread around the spots to create all different shapes. Super simple, and no need to make it look perfect. To finish the look, I used brown string to tie around the cake pop sticks, I thought it would resemble a rope perfectly! I also used a red and white plaid ribbon to tie around the sticks, it adds a bit of character to them don’t cha’ think, lol .wp-1479605872082.jpg

the mini haystacks had to be my absolute favorite! the mother of the birthday boy found them at the dollar store, and they were the perfect accessories to complete the table. I still can’t get over how adorable and teeny they were, lol cutest things ever.
