to make this scrumptious, creamy, dreamy delish cheesecake with a pop of Oreo goodness, you will need:
1 cup of sugar
4 pkg. cream cheese, softened (8oz. each)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
For the Oreo crust you will need:
1 & 1/2 cup of crushed oreo cookies
1/3 cup of melted butter
3 Tbsp. sugar
Preheat your oven to 325°F.
combine the crushed Oreo cookies along with the 3 Tbsp. of sugar and 1/3 cup of melted butter; press onto the bottom of your pan, you can use a standard pie pan, or a springform pan. I’m such a lover of mini size dessert servings, I had to pull out my mini springforms to use.
Beat the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract with your mixer until all is blended. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each egg. After all of your eggs have been incorporated and all ingredients are well blended, you can now pour the mixture over the prepared oreo crust.
bake for 50-55 minutes until the center of the cheesecake is almost set, every oven is different so it may bake faster or take a bit longer, so it’s super important to keep on eye on it. After removing the cheesecake from the oven, gently run a knife alongside the rim of the pan to loosen the cake and prevent any sticking. Cool the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
When the cheesecake is finally ready to eat after cooling a few hours in the fridge, top it off with some whipped cream and sprinkle on some more of those crushed Oreo cookies on top for garnish!
